The Gustbuster Competition Sun Glasses are the Multi-Sport sunglasses designed to prepare you for any outdoor endeavor in any lighting condition. Standard with each Competition frame are three lens sets, each with its own unique properties to enhance your vision, and protect your eyes. Each of the lenses included with the Competition block 100% of the sun’s harmful, invisible UV rays.
The Dark Gray lens is designed to block a majority of the sun’s visible rays. It is the natural sunny, mid-day choice for driving, golf, running, boating or any outdoor activity where the sun’s bright light can tire and damage the eyes.
The Brown Lens lets more visible light through than its dark grey companion. It still blocks a majority of visible light, and is an excellent choice for morning, evening or partly cloudy days, or anytime light conditions are constantly changing.
The Yellow Lens is the trickster of the Competition family. It blocks about 85% of the sun’s visible rays, but it plays a trick on the brain by actually making things seem brighter. It is a staunch blue light blocker, and this increases the light and dark contrasts around you. The result is a lens that lets your eyes take advantage of what light is available. They are fantastic for dark, cloudy days, indoor sports, or under artificial lights where physical eye protection is desirable.
And speaking of physical protection, each lens in the Competition set are made with SunBuster’s proprietary SolaRex™ 9 layer polycarbonate lens which delivers not only stunning clarity, but shatterproof protection that meets or exceeds ANSI standards. These lenses are housed in Sun Busters exclusive TR-90 Gilmirid Unifit Frame® which is designed for unsurpassed durability, and to fit virtually anyone comfortable.
